At Flower Friend, we transform your wedding flowers into heirloom art pieces that carry your story forward. Each frame is handcrafted with precision and care and offers you a tactile reminder that this beauty doesn’t have to be temporary.

Preserved with Intention

For centuries, flowers have been preserved in herbariums: academic collections of pressed botanicals used to document, study, and honor beauty and memory. In that same tradition, your bouquet is preserved not to stay frozen in time, but to hold its story as it continues forward.

Because flowers are natural materials, subtle changes in color over time are expected. While every piece is carefully preserved using professional techniques, archival materials, and UV-protective glass, gentle softening or lightening of color may naturally occur.

These shifts are part of the life of the piece, not a loss of it.

Your bouquet is designed to remain structurally intact and beautifully displayable for years to come, becoming an evolving heirloom that reflects not only your wedding day, but the life and love that follows it.

How it works

  • You don’t want to be sweating the small stuff when it comes to the night of your wedding. You will be ready to dance the night away and celebrate with your people. At Flower Friend we work to make your life easier by providing night-of bouquet pick up service. For those hosting their wedding within 45 minutes of Newberg , OR we can pick up your bouquet the night-of for a flat fee of $75. Is your venue further away, but you would be interested in pick-up? Reach out, we are happy to provide you with a quote.

  • If you are not getting married locally, but wish to preserve your bouquet, we send you detailed instructions on how to care for your bouquet on the day of and package it safely to make it’s way to us. We strongly discourage anything other than overnight shipping for the quality of your finished product.

  • Once you have booked your preservation, if you have also booked night-of pick-up, we reach out to you or your coordinator to make a plan to retrieve your bouquet.

  • We get your bouquet all tucked away in your preservation medium of choice and babysit her until her time comes to come back to life.

  • We know that the anticipation is REAL! Good things take time, we appreciate that you are someone who can handle the wait. Anticipation is a beautiful thing! How many opportunities do you have for delayed gratification in this world of instant everything? We expect to get your bouquet safely back to you in its new art form about 4-6 months give or take from the date of your wedding.

  • When the wait is officially over, we reach out to coordinate local pick-up, or to get current shipping info so that we can get your finished art piece safely home to you. Shipping is charged separately upon completion of your piece.

Hi, I’m Kelsey, the plant lover and floral artist behind Flower Friend. Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where your deep love and passion for savoring your flowers and memories is welcome and celebrated. I personally find great satisfaction in the little things in life, the ones you have to slow down enough to notice. An unexpected sunset, that first sun soaked perfectly ripe strawberry of the season, and excellence in craftmanship of any kind. I am willing to bet that you appreciate these things too.
