At Flower Friend we transform meaningful florals into enduring heirloom art — preserving beauty and memory long after the moment has passed.

Where fleeting beauty,

becomes forever.

Your bouquet witnessed all the little moments,

let her remind you daily.

Custom floral preservation for sentimental, art appreciating brides who want their love story to live on — artfully, intentionally, and by hand. Serving couples in Portland, Oregon and beyond.

Where cherished flowers become treasured heirlooms.

Your bouquet was by your side through one of the most meaningful moments of your life and now it deserves more than a couple days in a vase, to eventually fade away.

At Flower Friend, we transform your wedding flowers into heirloom art pieces that carry your story forward.

Each frame is handcrafted with precision and care and offers you a tactile reminder that the memories it holds are worth your presence.

Preserved with Intention

For centuries, flowers have been preserved in herbariums: academic collections of pressed botanicals used to document, study, and honor beauty and memory. In that same tradition, your bouquet is preserved not to stay frozen in time, but to hold its story as it continues forward.

Because flowers are natural materials, changes in color over time are to be expected. While every piece is carefully preserved using professional techniques, archival materials, and UV-protective glass, gentle softening or lightening of color will naturally occur.

These shifts are part of the life of the piece, not a loss of it.

Your bouquet is designed to remain structurally intact and beautifully displayable for years to come, becoming an evolving heirloom that reflects not only your wedding day, but the life and love that follows it.

How it works

Reserve Your Bouquet Preservation

Book your preservation before your wedding to guarantee your spot.

If you're getting married within 45-70 minutes of Newberg, Oregon, you can add night-of bouquet pick-up. This way you can enjoy your celebration without worrying about your bouquet at the end of the night.

You are welcome to drop off your bouquet the day after your wedding to my home studio in Newberg, OR free of charge.

Shipping Your Bouquet?

Not local? No problem.

As you are checking out, there is a place to indicate what your plan is for bouquet delivery. After you book, I'll send you simple step-by-step instructions for caring for your bouquet after your wedding and packaging it safely for shipping.

To give your flowers the best chance of preserving beautifully, overnight shipping is your best option.

We Make a Plan

If you've chosen night-of pick-up, I'll contact you (or your wedding coordinator) before ahead of time to coordinate all the details.

That way, everything is taken care of before you say "I do."

Your Bouquet Begins Its Transformation

Once your bouquet arrives safely, I carefully begin the preservation process using your chosen medium.

Each flower is thoughtfully prepared and preserved by hand so it can become a lasting heirloom you'll treasure for years to come.

Worth The Wait

Creating heirloom-quality floral art can't be rushed.

Your bouquet will typically be ready 4–6 months after your wedding, depending on the preservation process and drying time. Every bouquet is different, and giving your flowers the time they need helps create the best possible result.

Welcome It Home

When your piece is finished, I'll reach out to arrange local pick-up or confirm your shipping address.

If your artwork is being shipped, shipping costs will be invoiced separately before your piece is sent safely home.

I am so glad you are here!
